With a landscape steeped in colour and tradition, Rougemont is one of the prettiest villages in Switzerland, just a few minutes from the Parc de Gruyère, as well as Gstaad and it's ski-region.

Using natural materials, simple and pure shapes set the architectural tone of the building. Comfort is the name of the game. The traditional wooden chalets of the region are called to mind by the woodgrain patterns, providing a soft mountain ambiance and warm, spiced aromas.

Rougemont Hotel and Spa is positioned above Rougemont's pride and joy - the romanesque 11th century church built by the monks of the Cluny order. For the past millenium, the villagers preserved their rich lifestyles in their beautifully decorated wooden chalets. They cultivated the land, made traditional crafts and perpetuated culinary arts such as the 'tomme de Rougemont' - tasty symbol of the village. You will be plunged into a thousand year-old culture.

The region is also very attractive for it's numerous sporting activities: hiking, mountain biking, the "GolfClub Gstaad Saanenland" whose course has an awe-inspiring view. And, do not forget major events such as the Suisse Open Gstaad, the Hublot Polo Gold Cup, the International Balloon Festival in Chateau d'Oex, the Menuhin Festival and the Volleyball World Tour.
